At Ipswich Orthodontics, our specialist orthodontist Dr Grant Hamilton-Ritchie heads up a team of orthodontic professionals who make your treatment a success.
Dr Grant Hamilton-Ritchie
Grant is a registered specialist in Orthodontics with the Dental Board of Australia.
Grant completed his dental training at the University of Melbourne in 1994. He has worked in general dental practice in Albury NSW, Echuca Vic and Kedron QLD as well as spending 12 months working in England and Scotland.
Grant completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2001 and his specialist orthodontic training at the University of Queensland in 2003. He commenced working at Ipswich Orthodontics in 2004.
Grant is also a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialist field of orthodontics, a Member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists and a Member of the Australian Dental Association. He is also a certified Invisalign provider.
Grant is married to Angeline who went to Ipswich Girls' Grammar and they have three children.
Brihony started at Ipswich Orthodontics as our receptionist in 2011 and became our practice manager in 2018.She has 22 years of experience in retail and administration management, both in Australia and New Zealand, and has completed a Certificate II in Retail Operations and Applied Leadership.
Brihony experienced orthodontic treatment herself from Dr Grant in 2013 and loves the smile he created for her. She is passionate about ensuring each of our patients receive the best care and experience they can here at Ipswich Orthodontics.
In her spare time Brihony enjoys playing hockey and is passionate about coaching junior hockey players at club and representative level.
Jo has worked in the dental industry for almost 20 years as a dental assistant and is our Treatment Coordinator here at Ipswich Orthodontics. She has a strong passion for orthodontics and has completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting and Business Administration.
Jo loves following the journey of all our patients throughout their orthodontic treatment. Patients will meet Jo at their initial consultation where she will explain everything, from treatment options to financial information.She is always ready to answer any questions you may have about your orthodontic journey.
Born and raised in Ipswich, Jo has been involved in many school sports and community groups. Together with her husband Dan, she has three gorgeous children. Outside of the clinic, Jo enjoys photography, camping, the beach and playing/coaching netball, but mostly spending time with her family and friends.
Annette graduated in 2004 from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Oral Health). She worked as a hygienist in a local general dental practice for 11 years with a committed team delivering treatment for, and working towards the prevention of, oral diseases. Annette is now enjoying the challenge of working in a specialist orthodontic practice where she strives for the best treatment outcomes for our patients.
Annette was born and raised in Ipswich and has been involved in many local school, church and sporting groups while raising a family. She is passionate about oral health.
Megan is a qualified dental assistant with many years experience. She loves interacting with patients and strives to make every patient feel their needs are our top priority. Megan uses her skills and previous experience to ensure every one of our patients has the very best possible experience here at Ipswich Orthodontics.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys hockey, camping with her two gorgeous boys and spending time with family and friends.
Cassie completed her schooling in Sydney before relocating to Queensland in 2010 where she worked in early childhood on the Gold Coast for six years. She relocated to Mackay for 12 months with her partner and worked as a receptionist for a tax agent, before settling in Ipswich with her partner and two fur babies.
Cassie started working at Ipswich Orthodontics in early 2018 as our full-time receptionist. She is great at interacting with patients of all ages and enjoys building bonds with each patient to help create a positive and unique experience.
When not at work Cassie enjoys taking her dogs to the beach, 4WDing and going camping.
